There was a service degradation with Mastercard payment gateway service in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) region between 01:45- 02:15 Hrs. UTC, 24 March 2026.
The issue impacted AMEX transactions, resulting in failures originating from the issuer side. Impacted customers may have experienced an increase in transaction timeouts and/or failed transactions.
Mastercard team confirmed that Services have been restored and working as expected.
